Dr A Raindi (m)

MBBS, BSc, MRCGP, DPD
I graduated from Guys, Kings and St Thomas’ medical school and worked as a senior house office in general medicine and paediatrics before embarking on my GP training. I strongly believe in communicating effectively with my patients and actively involving patients in their own management plan.

Dr J Mehta (m)

I have been a GP for over 10 years providing general and specialist medical services. I have an interest in education and I am a GP trainer. I have a keen interest in musculoskeletal medicine including sports and exercise medicine and I run a dedicated clinic at Fernlea Surgery.

I joined Fernlea surgery in 2016 and I am grateful to be a part of the amazing team, not just of our wide range of healthcare professionals and administration team in the practice, but the extended Haringey community services. I qualified from the University of Birmingham and undertook my GP training in North London. I have a wide range of experience in different specialties, and I have a particular interest in Women’s Health and Contraception. I strive to treat patients with the dignity and respect they deserve and enable them to take control of their health with our help.

I performed my medical training at Barts & The London Medical School, part of Queen Mary University London (QMUL), and qualified in December 2015. I have been a salaried GP with Fernlea Surgery since 2016. I am a GP Educational Supervisor for the training of other GPs at Fernlea Surgery.

I have been a salaried GP with Fernlea Surgery since 2014. During my training, I have had a wide-ranging experience of several medical specialists. In particular, I have an interest in women’s health and sexual health. To provide the best care I can for my patients I adopt a friendly holistic patient-centered approach.

I have been working at Fernlea Surgery since February 2020. I qualified from University College London in 2010. I undertook my GP training North London which provided me with a wide experience of different specialties including Medicine, Psychiatry, and Sexual Health. Prior to GP training I undertook additional specialist training in Paediatrics and I am particularly interested in childhood wheeze and asthma. My other interests are in Tropical Medicine, migrant and refugee health. I strive to be conscientious, friendly and hardworking to provide the best care for my patients.

Practice Manager

The Practice Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Receptionists and Administrators

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.
